Podiatry
Most of us suffer with painful feet at some time in our lives.
What can be done?
You can visit a State Registered Podiatrist, who can dramatically improve mobility and maintain fit, active and pain free feet. You do not to be referred by your GP.
Why visit a State Registered Podiatrist?
State Registered is the standard set by the Government, through the council for Professions Supplementary to Medicine. Only State Registered Chiropodists may be employed within the National Health Service Health Authorities, Health Boards and NHS Trusts. State Registration is the only standard acceptable to the NHS which is why you should not accept anything less.
What can a State Registered Podiatrist Treat?
The State Registered Podaitrist is qualified to provide a wide range of treatments. Some will specialise in, for example, biomechanics, sports medicine or diabetology; some will be able to perform bone surgery; and most will be able to carry out painless treatments using local injected anaesthesia.
