The Carlton Clinic
Contributing to the Health Care Programme At your Company.

Our aim is to prepare a programme suited to the needs of the Company and its workforce.

An initial assessment of the workforce and discussion with the Company's Management Team will enable the practitioners at the Carlton Clinic to deliver the most appropriate format and level of care for that particular working environment via our established corporate needs assessment programme.

The Carlton Clinic will also advise on the most effective forum for the delivery of the agreed programme, through small group practical and information giving sessions. These will be arranged at times which will fit in with the Company's normal work schedule on site, or if preferred outside facilities can be provided.

Government statistics average the daily company cost per employee off work at £150. The Carlton Clinic can return most causes of time off work to the workplace for less than this cost alone. All treatment, re-education, and advice programs embarked on will be with the full liaison and continuing discretion of the management/directors.

Osteopathy has a growing bank of research and trial evidence demonstrating its effectiveness in the workplace, in the NHS, against other treatments, and in GP surgeries (copies available from The Carlton Clinic).

Corporations who have invested in providing employee treatment have reduced their lost work hours by up to 95% and saved many times their investment financially.

We have a medically qualified consulting nutritionalist who uses food and food supplements as medicines to treat a range of health problems from weight loss and tiredness and the range of general health problems causing lost work hours.

We have a medically qualified acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner. Acupuncture has been found to be particularly useful in a number of general health and musculo skeletal problems causing lost work hours. Acupuncture is often effective in stress reduction treatment.

Many employees spend many hours on their feet. We have a state registered Chiropodist of 45 years experience who is honorary Vice President of the Government registering body for UK Chiropodists and Podiatrists, and we have one of only a few Podiatric surgeons in the UK. Our "Footcare" team, with our Osteopathy, can treat and advise on all skin, nail infections, bio-mechanical and painful arch and structural foot problems.

We have Doctor of Stress Management and Psychoanalysis/Hypnotherapy who can form part of the Carlton Clinics reduction of the second biggest time off work cause. (Government H&S Dept figures 1998) in your corporation. Osteopathic treatment has research trails and a long repute of reducing stress symptoms also.
