Medical Acupuncturist and Osteopathic Physician, Counselor.

Qualified from Alexandria University Medical School in 1970. After completing residency at the University Hospital in Alexandria, Dr. Wahba arrived to England in 1971 where he worked as Senior House Officer in General Surgery, Accident and Emergency, Ear, Nose and Throat and Anaesthetics.

Promoted to Specialist in Anaesthetics & Intensive Care where he combined the use of Acupuncture & Hypnosis with conventional procedures. Further qualification in psychology led to a Senior Medical Officer post in Acute Psychiatry.

In 2000 he began his studies at the London College of Osteopathic Medicine where he qualified and gained Osteopathic registration. Dr Wahba was the first known to use hypnosis in operations, he teaches pain management techniques (including self hypnosis) to hospital doctors and nurses, also for the National Childbirth Trust, and is an examiner for the Medical and Dental Hypnosis Society.
