Simon has a BSc (Hons) Human Biology at Loughborough, BSc (Hons) Osteopathic Medicine at the British School of Osteopathy, during which he also completed specialist training in the Expectant Mothers clinic and in treatment of the disabled/disadvantaged.

Simon also completed a separate qualification in Japanese Massage (Seifukujitsu). He is a member of the Osteopathic Sports Care Association. His patients have included Premiership and International Rugby players, top level martial artists from different styles. He is consultant Osteopath to the British Kodenkan Danzan Ryu Ju-Jitsu Squad and the British and European Kilohana Martial Arts Association and has competed at top club level Rugby, American Football, Martial Arts and Rock Climbing.
