Jonathan qualified from a 5 year BSc Osteopathic degree, during which he took additional specialist training in the Sports Injuries Clinic and in Osteopathic treatment of pregnant women and then began building his practice in Horley in 1985. He has worked extensively in sports injuries medicine in addition to clinical practice, being employed at various times by the British Judo Association, a premier division American football club, leading ballet companies, Chelsea and Charlton Athletic football clubs, (to which he is still a consultant), and the Professional Golf Association (European tour). Jonathan has been senior technique lecturer on an Osteopathic degree; an elected council member of the British and European Osteopathic Association, and director of post graduate education of the association members; he passed these on to concentrate on his home practice and family. By invitation Jonathan gave seminar lectures to the Japan Osteopathic Academy and received his honory membership after also working for greater recognition between the two groups. In October 1995 he gained a 2 year PhD in Naturopathic Medicine. Jonathan is a listed specialist for Osteopathic treatment of "M.E." by the registered charity research foundation for this illness, and is a specialist in accident examination and medico-legal reports.
